On the longest day
of the year, the Hare jumps the sacred site of Stone Henge. The sun is
rising and sheding its light and warmth onto the mystical stones before
its starts its retreat into the darker months.
My plaque has been given depth which adds to a 3d effect.
It is finished in a border of Ivy foliage.
One of my new
sculptures, hand made in Marble
mixture and unique to us.

Hares are considered sacred creatures and
it is believed that witches can shape shift into these wonderful creatures.
It is also associated with fertility and spring.
